Turn off Lexus IS250 seat belt alarm

  1. Keeping your foot off the brake, press the start button twice to turn on the car's electronics
  2. Press the trip reset button until the ODO is displayed (not Trip A or Trip B)
  3. Press the start button to turn the car off
  4. Keeping your foot off the brake, press the start button twice to turn on the car's electronics. Wait for the dashboard to settle
  5. Press and hold the trip reset button for 30 sec
  6. While still holding the trip reset button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt, the odometer display will switch to display either "b on" or "b off"
  7. Use the trip reset button to select the mode you want
  8. Wait for the timeout to happen, unbuckle the seat belt or turn the car off to end the procedure.
