From the menu select Control Center→System Administration→Login Manager. The Convenience has the settings for auto-login.

Setting up a GDM autologon (Fedora Core 4)

To autologon a user during system start, set the autologon keys at the top of /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf:

[daemon]
# Automatic login, if true the first local screen will automatically logged
# in as user as set with AutomaticLogin key.
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=dlk

To autologon a user during system start, add the following to the [daemon] section of /etc/X11/gdm/custom.conf:
